There is a break in the water You see the light above you You still want to shy away from it too hold your chains. You have a hand going to grasp them When you remember how long it's taken for you to come. You let the sun hit your face Even in the water, it's warm. You may not being trying to reach the top but you're getting there. You are making yourself get there. You smile softly at how some day, one day You'll break the surface And nothing will stop you.

Drowning

I feel it again. So close to drowning. To chaining myself to the bottom again, even though I worked so hard to put myself above the surface. I don't know what to do. A part of me wants to drown again, another part doesn't. It's always conflicting. I am not supposed to go through this again. Wasn't once enough? I was so up so high, and now I'm falling again. For once, I'm prepared and able to make the decision of either falling or swimming. And I'm scared. Falling sounds so much easier, so much more normal. More familiar. Considering, again, creating a new DeviantART account, deactivating this one. I just want to start new again and fresh. .-. I'll end up saving all my artworks from this account before I go and delete it, but, I seriously probably going to create a new one. I just feel I need too. Idunno.
